Who We Are

The Heart of Education is the Education of the Heart.

Troy Christian Schools, Inc. is a college and career-preparatory, inter-denominational Christian school. The school was founded in 1980 and was chartered in 1982 by the State of Ohio as a K-8 elementary school. In the fall of 2001, Troy Christian Schools, Inc. was chartered by the State of Ohio as an 18-months-old through 12th grade school. Our enrollment is 185 for early childhood, 265 for grades K-6, and 331 for grades 7-12. We have students from 38 different school districts and 77 different churches.

Our mission is to assist parents in the education of their children’s minds and the transformation of their hearts through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Fundamentals

Spiritual Formation

All classes are biblically integrated and a daily Bible or Christian living class is part of each student’s day. Elementary Bible curriculum is based on Christian character development and scripture memorization. In jr. high and high school, Bible is a yearlong class that applies the principles of God’s word in everyday life. Chapel is a special time for the entire school to come together. Each chapel is unique and offers each age group time to praise, worship, pray, and study scripture. Guest speakers, students, and faculty share about God’s work in their lives. Special chapels held throughout the year honor important people in our lives, such as veterans and grandparents.
Academic Excellence

All of our K-12th classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including SMART Boards, iPads, Chromebooks, software to connect to our 3D printers, updated wireless system, and iPad minis for teachers. We are committed to preparing our students with 21st Century skills so they are competitive in today’s world.
Servant Leadership

We teach the importance of leadership skills at TC. Students are given opportunities in both traditional and nontraditional experiences to serve others. When given the chance to lead and serve, students gain confidence and passion. No matter what kind of an “influencer” your child will become, he or she will be able to explore servant leadership through our school-wide programs.

We strive to equip our students to become productive members of church and society, demonstrating leadership and service as they learn and experience their God-given gifts and talents. Our desire is that our students develop a genuine relationship with Christ resulting in attitudes and actions that manifest respect, responsibility, and gratitude.

Academics
The purpose of the academic program at Troy Christian is to prepare students to pursue a life of purpose and calling based on how God has uniquely created them.
Arts
At TCS we believe in cultivating the arts by equipping our students with the tools and opportunities needed to develop their God-given gifts.
Athletics
Athletics are an important part of a student’s experience of a Christian community during their time in school. We are developing Godly character through lessons learned on and off the field.
Campus
Our campus includes a Jr. High/High School Building, Childcare and Elementary Building, Performing Arts Center, and three Gymnasiums.
Student Life
Our student life is designed to provide students with opportunities and allow them to step into their God-given design and potential.
Spiritual Life
Spiritual life is an integral part of who we are as a student body. We strive for heart transformation in each of our students.
